RPG Fan
But all of you gamers who tend to have the same tastes I do in RPGs should not miss out on this one. It really is a ton of fun to play.

The individual elements of Mana Khemia 2 are nothing special, really, though this is one game that is certainly greater than the sum of its parts. The story doesn't take itself seriously, but the gameplay here packs quite a punch.

Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy continues the NIS tradition of solid RPG love with a quirky twist. If you enjoyed the first game then the second one will truly impress thanks to all of its improvements over the original. However, if you were not a fan then the improvements may not be enough to sway your opinion.

Even with its flaws, Mana Khemia 2 does offer over 50 hours of gameplay for those PS2 RPG fans who crave more of Atelier series of games.

This title is pretty much just a straight forward JRPG. Fans of the genre will enjoy their time with this title while others might want to look elsewhere.

So it's not quite the stuff of legends, but it's a solid game that has a great cast of lovable characters and a strong battle system, two of the biggest linchpins of any RPG.

Mana Khemia 2 is a step up from its predecessor, but it still doesn't live up to the series it spawned from (Atelier Iris).

Its biggest downfall is its complete ordinariness. [Nov 2009, p.76]
Worth Playing
Mana Khemia 2: The Fall of Alchemy feels like a half-finished game.

Unfortunately, while the original game really had a fairly interesting story, this game fell a little short of it.
